Chris initially qualified as a Prosthetist Orthotist in 1979 and worked in this field until transferring to occupational rehabilitation in 1986. He completed his Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics in 1988 and has worked as a Consultant Ergonomist in Occupational rehabilitation and prevention since that time.
In 1993 Chris established Risk and Injury Management Services, an OHS consultancy service focusing on Occupational Rehabilitation, Injury Prevention and Ergnonomics.
In 1995 Chris was involved as the co-author of the publication, "Officewise - A guide to Health and Safety in the Office" (Ergonomics Unit, Health and Safety Organisation, Victoria, 1995). This publication is regarded as a major reference for this supject and has been reprinted on a number of occasions by the Victoria WorkCover Authority in Victoria and nationally by Comcare Australia.
