ELISSA JACKSON

BA (Psychology), Grad Dip Behavioural Studies in Health Care, MAPS, Certificate IV Workplace Training

 

Elissa is a psychologist, rehabilitation consultant and vocational counsellor. She has 20 years experience in employment placement, training, disability and rehabilitation. She is a skilled mediator and motivator.

Elissa has a special interest in assisting individuals who need to make a career change. With the use of quick and effective tests she helps them to identify their interests, skills, aptitude and workstyle preferences in preparation for locating suitable employment.

With her wide experience and training she is often called upon to address complex cases with both individuals and organisations. She provides staff counselling and teamwork facilitation when issues of conflict and aggressive behaviour arise. She has an excellent understanding of the risk factors in stress as they affect employee health and wellbeing.
